Systemic Racism, Faith, and the 2020 Election

“This election is about restoring and redeeming the soul of our nation and that starts with addressing the original sin: systemic racism. I would love to see a member of Congress from the Republican Party who would stand up and emphatically say with no caveats, no catch-phrases, that Black Lives Matter. … We should celebrate it … that more people are going to come to the table to work on this issue. … It is the religious issue and the issue of faith -- and for people of faith -- in this election. That’s why Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the right people to make those decisions. They are grounded in a faith that believes we are in a time that calls for revival, for healing, for transformation.”
