[According to the Rural Voter Institute’s studies] people can come together and rally – Republicans, Democrats, American families – can come together to tackle this problem. There are factors at play on the global stage right now impacting this [inflation]. For example, the war in Ukraine and what it is doing to food prices and gas prices and how it impacts the economy… In World War 2 we faced inflation and shortages of supplies of gas. Americans came together because they knew freedom didn’t end at our shores and we banded together for that; Democrats and Republicans can do that today.”
