Kate moderates TruCon discussion on 2017 special elections

TruCon panel

Kate Monson enjoyed moderating a political conversation at the 2018 Truman National Security Conference in Washington, D.C. last weekend. The panelists included top Democratic pollster Celinda Lake of Lake Research, DNC Communications Director Xochitl Hinojosa, and Truman Political Partner Valerie Martin of Silversmith Strategies. The panelists took a close look at the 2017 special elections to understand the trends and challenges that are shaping the landscape for Democrats this fall, and the audience came away with the latest research and quite a bit of practical guidance for running and winning in 2018.

Thank you to the Truman National Security Project for hosting an outstanding conference! We are always proud to be part of this extraordinary community of leaders.

Campaign Communications In the Age of ‘Alternative Facts’

At the annual CampaignExpo convention, Isaac Wright was a featured guest on the "Campaign Communications In the Age of ‘Alternative Facts’" panel.

"Heading up the communications department is already one of the toughest jobs in any competitive race, but the age of ‘alternative facts’ has made the role even more perilous. In this session, we’ll assess the current environment around truth and campaigns, and examine the responsibility of the staffer in an era where some simply concoct their own version of the truth."
