FSSG Partner Kate Monson named a "Rising Star" by Campaigns & Elections Magazine

Kate was honored to be included among some of the best young political professionals of 2018.

“As founding partner and creative director at FSSG, Kate Monson helps campaigns tell stories through brand development, video production, digital advertising and direct mail. Prior to co-founding FSSG, Monson built a reputation for dynamic creative with a design consultancy that served state Democratic parties, candidates, and nonprofits. Kate also served as communications director for the Minnesota DFL Party, where she helped re-elect Sen. Amy Klobuchar and win both legislative majorities. For the 2018 cycle, Kate’s team is working to expand the map for Democrats throughout the Southeast and the Midwest.”

Kate and Isaac honored with the Harry S. Truman Award for Political Leadership

Kate and Isaac were honored to jointly win the Harry S. Truman Award for Political Leadership this month at the annual national convention of the Truman National Security Project. 

The award is given for outstanding effort in the political arena that promotes and defends the Truman worldview. The award recognizes those who have built the Truman National Security Project's collective strength through electoral accomplishment, legislative advocacy, building organization alliances, furthering our values in the political realm, and more. The award honors the public articulation of Truman's values in a time of fierce political debate about America's changing role in the world.
